The assessment card

Two-family on the card, 2,184 square feet, not owner-occupied. Lot 5,000 square feet. Two stories. Eleven rooms on the older cards. The tax bill is mailed to Hyde Park, not to this house.
2020 tax, where a card prints it: $5,037. The fiscal-year 2026 card was not pulled. Building value almost doubles between 2023 and 2024. That is the city noticing the work. Tax follows the building, not the homicide.

Zoning on the cards: Greater Mattapan, residential 2. Legal cap: three dwelling units plus an accessory unit. Lead paint “none” is a listing box, not a lab sheet. The 2026 listing’s 2,713 square feet is the accessory unit. The assessor card has not said that yet.
